Triguna Yoga offers this yoga and meditation retreat in Rishikesh which will help you discover the relationship between mind and body through yoga, meditation and breathing techniques. The retreat focuses on how you can heal yourself physically, mentally and emotionally using five elements, asana, meditation, emotional detoxification Kiryas and breathing techniques. Triguna Yoga believes in self-development through self-understanding.
Triguna Yoga 10 day retreat offers a deeper understanding of how you can use yoga asanas for mental health. Through the practice of some asanas our energy level, mind patterns and habits can be changed. You will discover the role of breathing in your life and how it creates opening and change in the self. A better quality of breath gives you a better quality of life.
Besides yoga asana and pranayama we will work with the 5 elements to heal and detoxify physically, mentally and emotionally. You will get understanding and experience of how we can cure our body and mind without the use of any herbs or medicine. Our focus is especially on emotional detoxification kriyas: how you can release the side effects of your negative emotions. The detoxification with 5 elements include mud and water treatments, breathing techniques as well as teachings how you can increase the fire element and ether element (fasting).
The purpose of this retreat is to help the body and mind heal so that you can gain more inner stability and strength to deal with situations in life.

YOGA POSTURES (ASANA)
There will be daily hatha and ashtanga yoga classes which helps increase physical strength, inner strength and naturally flexibility of the body and mind.
YOGA NIDRA (PSYCHIC SLEEP)
When a yoga practitioner moves through the various internal states of Yoga Nidra, a profound experience of relaxation occurs. This is called “turiya,” a sensation of pure bliss. This will cover basic relaxation, tension relaxation, and full body relaxation
EMOTIONAL DETOXIFICATION KIRYAS
Emotional Detoxification Kiryas is a combination of removing knots in the body through pressing points, breathing techniques, release through sound and laughter and meditation. It is a three day program and very effective to release the effect of emotions and other toxins in the body.

This retreat will take place in the holy city of Rishikesh, at the base of the Himalayas. Rishikesh holds deep cultural and spiritual significance for local Hindus. Sacred rivers and mountains set the scene for yoga and reflective hikes. It is a world yoga capital and every year thousands of people come to Rishikesh to learn yoga and meditation. There are hundreds of temples and ashrams in Rishikesh.
Our retreat location is Dhyan Mandir, located a couple of kilometres from Rishikesh away from all noise and traffic and close to the holy Ganga river. Dhyan Mandir is a beautiful ashram with two yoga halls in a big garden with flowers and many trees. There is free Wi-Fi access, hot shower and a filtered drinking water system. There are private rooms and shared rooms, some of them have AC. The rooms are big and have Western toilets and wardrobe. Bed sheets, blankets and pillows are also provided for you.
